The Ainsley is a long ribbed cashmere sock knitted in Scotland from a 90% cashmere, 10% nylon blend, where Johnstons of Elgin has been crafting fine knitwear for over 225 years. In Nouveau Green with a Bottle Green contrast cuff, the Ainsley brings together two depths of the same colour family in a combination that is vivid, considered and unmistakably Scottish in its palette. A close-fitting ribbed leg that reaches over the knee, a wide contrast cuff that folds back cleanly, and a richness of tone that holds its own in every season.
The nylon content adds durability to the delicate cashmere fibre, making the Ainsley a sock that wears beautifully with boots, under trousers or with skirts. One size fits UK 4 to 8.
